Start with four essentials
Form, height, quantity and destination are enough to begin a search. They are not always enough to compare final candidates.
Add dimensions that change the decision
Crown width, trunk girth, root-ball or pot size and clear trunk height influence appearance, transport and project fit. State how each dimension should be measured.
Describe visual character
Reference images help explain trunk movement, aerial-root preference, crown density and the balance between natural and highly trained forms.
Make priorities explicit
Mark each field as required, preferred or flexible. This gives the local search team room to find better alternatives without weakening the core requirement.
