Ask the importer to verify five points

1. Whether the exact Ficus planting material and origin are permitted.
2. Whether an import permit or additional declaration is required.
3. Which treatment, growing-medium or pest-free conditions apply.
4. Which notified entry point can inspect the consignment.
5. Which documents must be issued before departure.

Then test the commercial case

Once the official route is confirmed, compare tree value with preparation, inland transport, container use, inspection, clearance, aftercare and possible delay costs. Large specimen trees and repeatable wholesale batches may require different economics.
