There is no reliable answer from height alone
The number of Ficus trees that can be loaded into a container depends on the space each prepared tree actually occupies. Two trees with the same overall height may have very different crown widths, root-ball dimensions and trunk structures. A useful estimate therefore begins with current measurements after the intended preparation method has been agreed.
The measurements buyers should request
- Overall height after preparation
- Maximum crown width and whether the crown can be safely tied
- Root-ball or container width, length and height
- Trunk form and rigid branches that limit nesting
- Required protective clearance between trees
- Loading orientation and available door clearance
Loading density is not the only objective
A higher tree count may reduce freight cost per tree, but excessive compression can damage branches, aerial roots and crown structure. The right plan balances container utilization with the condition expected on arrival. Buyers should agree where trees may touch, which parts require wrapping and how each selected tree will be identified.
A practical planning sequence
- Confirm the Ficus forms, quantities and acceptable size range.
- Obtain current root-ball and crown measurements from representative trees.
- Define the preparation and protection method.
- Prepare a loading layout with realistic clearance allowances.
- Reconfirm the plan against the final selected trees before loading.
What to send GLOBAL FICUS
Share the required form, height range, quantity, destination and container preference. If you already have a BOQ or reference photographs, include them. We can use the requirement to search across Shaxi and coordinate the measurements needed for a more practical loading estimate.
